A strawberry, banana, and vanilla mead with lactose, SBVL is a collaboration with friends at More Brewing in Chicago. Garagiste decided to reimagine their Strawberry Banana Marbles Milkshake IPA as a mead. Orange Blossom honey that’s just oozing citrusy character, some lactose for creaminess, and nearly a full ton of domestic strawberries, fresh Costa Rican bananas and dried banana chips. They kept it wild with a mixed culture of Saccharomyces and non-Saccharomyces strains and then finished it on Madagascar vanilla beans. It’s the smoothie you always really wanted.
